Who said history repeats itself? I don't know but what a brilliant observation. Who said if you don't know history you're bound to repeat it? A total moron. How many massacres have there been in the last century? Who can keep up with it? It usually centers on race, religion, any other belief system you can think of.
My reason for this rant is that we are going thru the same thing in Europe that happened centuries ago. The islamic invasion. Except now it's getting very hostile. No country seems to want to take any action for fear of offending anyone of the islamic communities which have parked their asses in other countries and said you have to play by our rules now. Nasty rules by the way. While these countries may not be perfect they haven't made any laws that say a women should be stoned in the street for being raped or committing adultery. In the US I can wear whatever I want, I don't need to keep every inch of my face & body covered ( There are some days where that sounds like a good idea. Got bed hair? Don't feel like putting make up on? ), but no one is going to force me to conform to their way of life. If I want to wear a burka that's my choice. If I want to wear jeans and a t-shirt thats my choice. I may not like the way someone else is dressed but I can't go beat them up for it.
This happened before in Spain and other parts of Europe. Eventually they kicked the Moors out. I don't know, and I doubt anyone else knows the true story, but I'm guessing the Moors were pushing their lifestyle on the rest of the the original population and people finally said "screw this".
But today we don't want to be thought of as being rude, or insensitive, or racist, or intolerant. That attitude has turned many European countries into what has become close to sharia law states. Pretty soon being polite & tolerant is going to turn you all into slaves. Stop being such pussies. Fight back. Tell them if you don't like it here go back to your islamic run countries. We like the way we live. If you don't like it don't come here. If it come to a mass deportation then let it be so.
So in closing we all have a right to live our lives as we see fit as long as it doesn't harm others. We have enough problems of our own to deal with. We don't need another culture adding to it.
